Uproar!!! White Tiger Safari

The experience of getting up close and looking at tiger in the eye within few centimeters is hard to describe. What more if tigers leap on top of your vehicle and refuse to leave? Seeing their claws and teeth on your window. That's pure, thrilling adventure!

This is a not a short ride but quite exciting as you score through the dense forest canopy looking for the tiger. The ride is bumpy uncomfortable as you bend and twist to avoid the oncoming bamboo shoots and dagger like twigs. The undulating terrain makes the jeepgo up and own in a weird movement the is often unnerving.

It takes some effort to locate the tiger, and you will find it difficult to see unless pointed out if in the bush. The tiger pacified by the herd of tame pachyderms and their riders sits peacefully ignoring the curious humans. Nevertheless the animal is on its nerves and the warning growls can be frightening. The event is for a short moment and then you have to go back making room for other visitors on tiger safari. Anyway you have enough time to photograph or film the majestic cat from different angles.

This whole event is notified as tiger show by the forest department. This is organized only whence the tiger is located by the pachyderms and their riders. Once the big cat has been cordoned the show begins.

Reaching the Tiger Reserve. The forests are situated in the heart of India or the state of Madhya Pradesh. One can fly down from New Delhi to Jabalpur and then drive down to Kanha by a taxi. This is a 4 hours ride on reasonably good road to Mandla and beyond. The park can also be reached from Pench National Park which is about 200 km hence a ride of six hours can be estimated. Pench is closer to Nagpur Airport which is also connected with New Delhi.
